A Big Thank You and a little giveaway

 Hello dear bloggers
Everyone has been so kind with their lovely comments on my boxes etc, my problem is I'm my own worst nightmare, I have so many things I want to try out, my crotchet blanket is having a lovely time lazing in its basket dreaming of the day it will be used finished.   :)

I have a mountain of fabric I would love to use on
1. A scrappy patchwork cushion, ( I blame Helen @ A patchwork Heart for this and the rug :)
2. A fabric scrap rug

3. I want to make beautiful brooches, Annie (The felt fairy) this is some of your lovely felt.
    this is work in progress.
4 .Make Christmas decorations for my children to treasure.

5. Paint watercolour miniatures like I used to do years ago

The list is endless because it lso includes loads of decorating and my biggest ever to do project renovating our old summer house, some of you may remember my blog in the Summer.
I can never seem to get myself organised.  I think being unwell for a long time has rather taken the wind from my sales or maybe it's being a Gemini, I can never make my mind up and always have an excuse :)

Does anyone else have this problem ?
On a different note I try not to look at how many followers I have, but after a recent  blog discussion I did take a peep, low and behold there were 10 more than last time I looked, so my planned giveaway is to say a great big Thank You to all my old bloggy friends and a big Welcome to my new ones.
I often trawl around blogs and have a good read, wonder at some of the beautiful things you all make and enjoy seeing new places, but sometimes I don't comment, I don't always feel I have a lot to contibute, but I do enjoy it and have been so glad I started this blog. I have made some lovely friends ones I may never meet but in blog land it doesen't matter.
This is just a little something to brighten someones day, so post a comment on my blog, both blogs for a double chance :) and I will put your name in the hat .Let me know which you would prefer.

               A 1950's Midwinter pin dish
                                                                             OR

I will close this on 1st October

Well must fly I have such a lot to do

hi- I love the brooch too!
Just dropped in via somewhere else (sorry can't remember how I just found you!) and I love your blog.
I love your Vintage Treasures shop too- very reasonable prices.

I've found from experience that the creative rush often comes after illness, and is all part of the healing process.
Sometimes its organised, sometimes its just flitting from one thing to another without rhyme nor reason, but always it helps put you back on the road to recovery.

Hope to meet again xx
PS please DON'T put me in your giveaway xx

Hi, I suffer from the same problem,I have a thousand ideas whirling around in my head, jobs on the go and end up flitting from one to the next - I though it was because I'm an aries.
Great to have found your blog.
Take care. Nickyx

I am the queen of unfinished projects...also mistress of great ideas for projects that I buy the bits and bobs for and never even get round to starting!
When I was young time was amazingly elastic and stretched on an on, but now the elastic is so tight and I just can't find enough hours in the day to do what I need to do, let alone want to do!
Your pictures show work in progress and the fact that there is a variety of works in progress will keep them all fresh and interesting, and that can only be good, I reckon!

I never have more than one bear on the go, they just don't get finished else. Saying that there are a couple of bears still half done. The book looks great.

Hi Cate, your list seems to be as long as mine and now that I have the time off I cant use my hand..hehe.

I love the brooch that you made with the felt, its gorgeous, what a great idea.

Hope you are feeling well, just wanted to say hi, and please exclude me from the giveaway as I live far to far away.

Hi Cate!
I'm sure you will get all your projects done one day, & then there will be more!! I must say I love the bowl, and the quilt book.
Thanks for your lovely comments on my Vintage Fair post : ) There will be a Vintage fair happening in Leigh on Sea soon, that wouldn't be too far from you, would it? I know that Lisa, from 'Lissy Lou & the two little boys will be having a stall there, so I'm sure she will be able to give you more details.

Hugs (( ))

I am one of your new bloggers. I really like your blog. If I was to win I think I would pick the little dish. I have a thing for dishes. They are so handy to store absolutely anything in.

I have recently started my own blog. We would really love to see you over there. Caroline xxx
