Make it 50's style

I bought this book a few weeks ago in a cs
it's so relevant for today

What do you think of the apron :)

I think this is a great idea

                                                                      Snazzy socks
A very now knitted bag, dog lead and coller

For all you knitters a special apron
                                         How about matching aprons

I wonder what we will be trying to emulate in 50 years time shell suits, curly perms, tattoos what do you think ?

Have a good week Cate x

Very cute! Those knee high socks are pretty cute! Gonna have to ask my mom to knit me up some! Wish I could knit but I'm lacking the patience!

Hiya, the little child carrier so so cute, though I couldn't imagine carrying them far, could you? Also the little dog leash is cool, if you had a very obedient dog :)

I couldn't knit anything to save my life. Well, except a scarf I once made that was wonky all the way down, I guess it had something to do with the different sized wool and probably a tension thing. The trouble is I can't cast on or off for that matter :)

I like the look of that book :)

Can you imagine people in 50 years time wanting to make - hoodies, jeggings & huge multi-coloured trainers? (I hope not).

Hi - thanks for your comment. I use a Sizzix die on my Bigshot to cut the snowflakes. It's a little hit and miss but works well enough. I cut the other shapes by hand. Good luck with your Rainbows, I am sure that they will love making decorations.xx

Hi
Thanks for stopping by and your lovely comments. I have washed feather eiderdowns in the washing machine on 40 degrees. I check them thoroughly for holes and mends and if unsure I put them in a pillowcase so I don't have a feather explosion!! I line dry them and then tumble dry them to finish them off as it fluffs them up. Hope this helps.
